The Ocean Conservation Trust, who’s home is the National Marine Aquarium, is excited to announce that we’re on the hunt for a new Chair of our Board of Trustees.
We’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Mark Lomas for over nine years of outstanding leadership, and to Jerry Roberts, our exceptional Interim Chair, for all of his support during this transition.
Reflecting on his time with us, Mark said: “It’s been a privilege to work alongside such a passionate and forward-thinking team, united by a shared passion to protect and restore our Ocean for both people and the planet.”
Under Mark’s guidance, we expanded our impact and reach, taking huge steps towards a healthier Ocean and connecting people with the Ocean through science, education, and advocacy.
Jerry remarked: “I’m delighted to take on the role of Interim Chair and continue supporting the OCT’s important work, building on the strong foundation that Mark has helped to create.”
