National Marine Aquarium Soft Play

After the rollercoaster that was the last two years, we have made the decision to reopen Soft Play for the general public.

If the excitement of exploring the Aquarium gets too much, our Soft Play area is the perfect place for youngsters to let off some steam.

The Softplay will be working on a timed session basis – each an hour long. We generally open our soft play area on weekends, holiday times and peak times, however we advise to message us before on enquiries@oceanconservationtrust.org to double check!

Located at the heart of the NMA and open every day, kids can play till their heart’s content – and adults can take a moment to sit back and unwind with a hot or cold drink and a bite to eat in the adjacent snack bar.

Soft Play Entry Prices

  • Weekdays and Weekends – £2.00 a session which lasts one hour

Soft Play is available for children between the heights of (2’8’’ (80cm) to 4’3’’ (130cm).

*Please be aware Soft Play may be closed due to Children’s Birthday Parties. Children must be wearing socks to play. Socks are available for sale at the Soft Play desk.

The National Marine Aquarium (NMA) is the UK’s largest aquarium, located in Britain’s Ocean City, Plymouth. It is run by the Ocean Conservation Trust, a charity dedicated to connecting people with the Ocean.
