£23,000 – 26,000 pa (dependent on experience)

We’re on the lookout for a multimedia guru to join our growing marketing and communications team. If you’re a Premiere pro, a Photoshop whiz and an InDesign mastermind, then this might be the role for you.

You will be the content core for our charity, initiatives, and programmes. The focus of the role will be to tell our story, connect with new audiences and grow our reach by providing a selection of multimedia assets. From social media memes to documentary shorts, you’ll need to be on hand to shine a line on the amazing array of stories our charity hopes to tell through various multimedia content.

About our Charity & role

As a global Ocean conservation charity, we restore and protect the Ocean, through people and positive action. Focusing on habitat restoration and promoting pro-Ocean behaviour.

Conservation is all about people. Our team of marine biologists, educators, communicators, researchers, ecologists, oceanographers and divers are Ocean optimists. We work tirelessly to connect people to the Ocean and influence pro-Ocean behaviour.

Working across our charity’s core brand and key initiatives including the National Marine Aquarium and conservation programmes, you’ll need to work with our internal departments to ensure their information is communicated ensuring the OCT’s Ocean optimistic voice shines through.

The right person will have proven experience in a similar role, either in an agency, inhouse or freelance. The position will be based at our headquarters at the National Marine Aquarium, Plymouth but some travel will be needed.

You will need to be self-motivated and enthusiastic to generate long-term working relationships both internally and externally. You will need to be a self-starter, able to work autonomously and managing your own time to meet deadlines.
