The housekeeping team play a vital role in delivering a great guest experience to all our visitors at the National Marine Aquarium. They have a keen eye for detail and an organised approach. Along with our front of house staff they are real ambassadors for the company and are committed to consistently delivering high standards.

We are looking to recruit a 20-hour per week position to join our housekeeping team. This is a permanent position that will work four out of seven days per week. Working hours will vary between an 8am start and a 6pm finish. This role is subject to a three-month probationary period.

Due to the nature of our business all applicants should be fully flexible and available to work weekends, throughout the school holidays and bank holidays.

The right candidate will be friendly and approachable, who is thorough and efficient in their work, with good attention to detail and keen to create a pleasant environment within the aquarium through cleanliness and hygiene to enhance the visitor experience.

Previous experience in the provision of cleaning services in a busy environment visited by members of the public or similar would be beneficial. You must also have a reliable work ethic.

Salary £8.36 per hour aged up to age 22 / £8.91 per hour aged 23+
