The Admissions and Retail Team is looking to recruit new team members. You will be the first person that our visitors meet, and your role is therefore vital in creating a friendly and enthusiastic welcome to enable them to enjoy their visit. You will be joining a passionate team of people who care about customer service and marine conservation in one of the South West’s top visitor attractions.
You will play a key role in providing an exceptional service by engaging with our visitors, forming a natural rapport and being attentive to their needs, including demonstrating your product knowledge by advising and making suggestions so that they leave us delighted with the level of service they have received.
Ideally you will have great people skills, be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and be able to form positive working relationships with colleagues.
We are looking for people who excel in customer care, who are friendly and efficient and who are resilient as during school holidays it can get extremely busy. A key part of the role is ensuring that as many paying visitors opt to pay the Gift Aid admission price as possible. This helps us to achieve our charitable aims in driving marine conservation through engagement.
The 6 hour a week role is based on working one day each weekend.

The rate of pay is £8.36 for those aged under 23 / £8.91 for those aged 23+
