You may already be aware that here at the National Marine Aquarium, we are run by Ocean conservation charity, the Ocean Conservation Trust – which means that we rely on donations and ticket sales to keep our Aquarium running, our animals fed and happy, and to continue the important conservation projects we undertake, including those within habitat restoration.

Our Aquarium is the largest in the UK and can cost up to £10,000 a day to run. Over a normal summer, our charity is able to cover these costs with ticket sales, but with our income now decreased for the foreseeable future due to limits on the number or visitors we can safely allow into the building at any one time (due to adhere with social distancing rules), we are running a little lower on funds than usual.

Aquariums aren’t just tourist attractions; we also play an important role in Ocean conservation, education and research. So, if you’d like to support us to continue all of this, any donation you can make or small gesture of support you are able to show would be greatly appreciated.

Thankfully, there are lots of different ways you can support us. Read on to find out how.
