Marine Biological Association

The Marine Biological Association (MBA) is one of the world’s longest-running societies dedicated to promoting research into our oceans and the life they support. Since 1884 we have been providing a unified, clear, independent voice on behalf of the marine biological community and currently have a growing membership in over 40 countries.

Rockfish

We have some of the finest seafood in the world caught from within a few miles of each of our restaurants. We have a simple approach to preparing it – we buy the freshest and most sustainable fish on the planet and treat it simply, we believe this is the best way to enjoy seafood.

Significant Signs

Significant has been designing, producing and fitting graphic solutions for businesses and organisations in Plymouth and the Southwest of Britain for over 20 years. We are firmly established in a purpose built 4000sq ft building, which houses our “start to finish” production in signs and graphics.

We have developed a reputation for reliability, working to tight deadlines, with high quality work and competitive prices, resulting in an ever increasing level of customer loyalty and satisfaction.

Tamar Fresh

Tamar Deli Fresh is a family run business, providing a wide range of freshly prepared, hand-made, sandwiches, luxury deli rolls, baguettes, wraps, buffets, salads and fruit platters for daily delivery within Plymouth and the surrounding area. Every single product in the new Tamar Deli Fresh range has been created using fantastic fresh ingredients that ensure they taste every bit as good as they look. All of our branded packaging is 100% recyclable and environmentally friendly.

The UNA Group

The Una Group was formed by like-minded individuals getting together for one business project – and finding that by working together, other opportunities arose which could be better tackled by the group than by any one individual working alone, hence Una – Latin for “all together as one” which reflects our business philosophy. On the environmental side of The Una Group is the investment in a unique rubber processing plant, Crumb Rubber Ltd; Dynaslate Ltd producing slates from recycled rubber and plastic and the most recent venture, Carbonarious which converts waste wood into fuel.

T.H. March

In 1887 the eighteen-year-old son of a London Hatton Garden diamond merchant (our founder Tommy March) experienced a ‘eureka’ moment. He realised that the jewellery trade he’d come to know through his Father’s business, was largely uninsured. His idea blossomed to become the UK’s best-known firm of jewellery trade specialist insurance brokers (“Famous for Insuring Jewellery”) TH March.

The National Marine Aquarium (NMA) is the UK’s largest aquarium, located in Britain’s Ocean City, Plymouth. It is run by the Ocean Conservation Trust, a charity dedicated to connecting people with the Ocean.
