About Plymouth

Explore Plymouth Britain’s Ocean City:

Our glass-fronted building gives amazing views of Plymouth Sound, filled with yachts, fishing boats, naval vessels and cargo ships. Walk around the historic Barbican and Sutton Harbour with a range of fabulous restaurants and independent shops – you’ll see plenty of fishing boats unloading their catch. Take a stroll around the city’s iconic Hoe foreshore and see what you can spot on your coastal walk – maybe a basking shark if you’re lucky!

Eating out in Plymouth:

The city’s regeneration has tempted many restaurateurs to the area and its spot on the Devon Seafood coast ensures that the chefs have access to all the fresh fish, meat and vegetables they could ask for.
