The Trustees were sorry to hear of the recent passing of Geoff Potts.  Geoff achieved much over his long career but one his greater accolades was perhaps the vision and early development of the National Marine Aquarium (NMA), now part of Ocean Conservation Trust.  

Geoff had a passion for fish, research, and education. It is therefore fitting that his determination has given rise to what has become a much-loved attraction in Plymouth and beyond, where over 7 million people have been able to witness the wonders of the Ocean and over 400k school children have started their marine adventure.

The National Marine Aquarium (NMA) is the UK’s largest aquarium, located in Britain’s Ocean City, Plymouth. It is run by the Ocean Conservation Trust, a charity dedicated to connecting people with the Ocean.
